A Blind Date with the King of Love

• Are you lonely ?

• Are you tired of being sick and tired?

• Is your life a mess but you do not know why?

• Is there something deep inside you that yearns for more but you do not know what that something is ?

• Have you tried the relgious rules but got no satisfaction?

• Have you tried the fixes to kill the pain or bring excitement into your life only to find out it makes things worse? ( i.e. booze, drugs, sex, perfectionism, controlling those around you, workacholism) ?

• Do you suffer from insomnia, depression, fatigue, lack of interest?

Then  it  is high time you try something new

don't you think?  Don't take my word for it- the proof is in the pudding!  Try Jesus - He will make a difference !  You do not need to live this life alone - He wants to partner with you!

Just say this little prayer out loud - and see what happens -  He is waiting for your heart !

Dear Lord

I have  tried doing it my way- and as you have seen God - I really have not been doing such a great job.  I really do not know You - but I have heard about You.  They tell me Jesus, that You love me so much that You died for me so You could show me how much You love me- I have no friend who would put their life on the line for me - so You must truly love me.

I want a better life and I want an eternal life too.  They say that Your love is better then wine, or anything else I have tried. 

I need You Lord. 

Forgive me for my  poor choices and wash away my darkness.  Come into my heart and be my Saviour.

Send me your Holy Spirit to guide me.

Teach me Your ways and comfort me. 

I  understand that YOu have made a promise that You will never leave me or forsake me no matter what.  Please empower me thru Your Spirit to nurture my relationship with You  by talking to You many times during the day. 

Make this blind date with You turn into a love relationship that will last throughout eternity.  Lead me to a church where You are alive and people love You and do things out of that place of passion for You .

In Jesus name I pray
